SYNOPSIS

The group of friends had all they would need for a successful Easter vacation; cabin, skis, snowmobile, toboggan, copious amounts of beer and a fertile mix of the sexes. DIRECTOR’S NOTE

The last few years the cinemas have been flooded with horror films that seem to have one sole purpose, and that is to make the audience feel sick, depraved and depressed. Dead Snow is a film that goes exactly the opposite way. Its a kickback to the good old slashers like Braindead, and the Evil Dead series, where people will scream and jump in their seats, and  minutes later laugh out loud. It is Scandinavias first Nazi-zombie-horror-slasher-feel good film, maybe even the worlds first, and combines blood and guts, with a very dark sense of humor. As a zombie film, it also brings something new to the genre, with making the zombies Nazis, and with the setting in the harsh winter landscape of Norway.

Dead Snow will give the audience something that they not have experienced before, and with its mix of humor and gore, people will not only squeal and scream in their seats, but also
leave the cinema with a big smile on their faces.
